Paid On-the-Job Training
This is the core of your apprenticeship. From day one, you are a hired employee engaged in work-based learning. You will master your trade through hands-on experience under the supervision of skilled professionals.

Stop looking for your next job and start investing in your future. A Registered Apprenticeship is more than a paycheck. It is a commitment to yourself and your craft. At Build A Pro, we provide the training, national credentials, and the personal support you need to move from “getting by” to “getting ahead.” We hold our apprentices to a high standard because we know what you are capable of achieving.
You shouldn’t have to choose between an education and a paycheck. You will earn a steady income from day one, with guaranteed raises as you hit milestones and master new skills. Because your training is paid for by the program, you gain a professional education without the burden of student debt.
You will graduate with nationally recognized certifications registered with the Department of Labor. These credentials are more than just paper. They are permanent, portable proof of your expertise that stay with you for life, respected by employers in all 50 states.
There is no substitute for the shop floor or the job site. You will work alongside seasoned professionals who are invested in your progress. This environment helps you develop the technical mastery and the professional discipline required to lead in your industry.
Proven results with comprehensive support
The standard hiring process often feels like it was built to keep people out. Between high-cost degrees, “years of experience” requirements, and rigid background checks, the road to a stable career can feel blocked. We know that life isn’t always a straight line, and a resume doesn’t always show what a person is truly capable of doing.
We take a different approach to employment. We don’t ignore the obstacles you’ve faced; we help you navigate them with a mix of grace and high standards. Our goal is to look at your history to help you map a successful route to your future. If you bring the drive, we provide the professional training, the mentorship, and the stability you need to build a career you’re proud of.
This is the core of your apprenticeship. From day one, you are a hired employee engaged in work-based learning. You will master your trade through hands-on experience under the supervision of skilled professionals.
In accordance with registered standards, you are paired with a journey-level mentor. They provide the one-on-one guidance and safety supervision required to help you transition from a beginner to a highly skilled expert in your field.
To ensure you stay on track, we provide support that addresses the whole person. Our Success Coaches help you manage external hurdles (such as transportation or childcare) so you can maintain the attendance and performance standards required by the program.
Upon completion, you receive a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship from the Department of Labor. This is a portable, industry-recognized credential that proves you have met rigorous national standards for your occupation.
A registered apprenticeship requires more than just manual work. You will complete the required hours of Related Technical Instruction. This classroom or online learning covers the theoretical and technical side of your craft.
Your commitment is rewarded with a structured wage schedule. As you meet specific skill milestones and complete your training hours, you receive guaranteed incremental raises that reflect your growing value to the employer.
From first contact to journey-level credential, here's every step of the Build A Pro apprentice journey.
Fill out the contact form or give us a call. You don’t need prior experience or a resume ready to go. This is simply the first step to tell us you are interested in exploring a new direction.
We believe a career should not be out of reach just because the path is unclear. As a Registered Apprenticeship sponsor, we bridge the gap between where you are today and where the industry needs you to be. We handle the standards and the employer partnerships so you can focus on mastering your craft.

Every person (regardless of age, background, or past circumstances) deserves the opportunity to build a career they are proud of. Our approach is built on “High Standards and Grace.” We meet you where you are and provide the support you need, but we also expect you to show up and do the work required to become a certified professional.
Our model is simple. When you grow, the community grows. By connecting you with employers who are ready to invest in your development, we ensure you gain more than just a paycheck. You gain a nationally recognized credential and a path to long-term stability as a valued member of a community.

Build A Pro is built for anyone ready to work. While we offer specialized divisions to navigate specific challenges, our program is open to every person (regardless of age or history) who is looking for a path to a more stable career. Whether you are switching industries, re-entering the workforce, or simply looking for a new direction, we provide the tools and the partnership to help you get there.

Stop waiting for an opportunity and start building one.

We offer more than just a paycheck; we provide the life coaching, financial literacy, and professional stability required to clear the hurdles of the past. If you are ready to do the work and live with accountability, we are ready to open the door to an honorable, long-term career.

Translate Your Service into a Mission
The civilian workforce needs your discipline, your leadership, and your work ethic. We specialize in helping veterans and transitioning service members translate military experience into high-demand technical trades. We connect you with employers who understand the value of your service and offer a clear new mission. Continue your legacy of excellence in a career that respects where you’ve been and rewards where you are going.
We offer registered apprenticeship pathways across multiple growing sectors. Explore our available career paths to see where your work ethic can take you.

Build the world around you. This industry is for people who like to see the results of their work at the end of the day. You will learn to read blueprints, use specialized tools, and master the systems (like power, water, and structure) that make buildings function.

Solve problems with logic. This field is about more than just sitting behind a screen. You will learn how to protect digital data, build the software that businesses rely on, and manage the networks that keep the world connected. It is a career built on constant learning and technical expertise.

Support the health of your community. Healthcare is a high-precision field where your attention to detail matters every day. You will learn to assist medical professionals, manage patient records, or handle pharmacy and dental operations in a fast-paced, essential environment.

Operate the machinery that drives production. This field is about the hands-on work of making physical products at scale. You will work in a shop or plant environment, learning to operate heavy machinery, monitor production lines, and use precision tools to ensure every part is built to specification. It requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on safety.

Manage the engines of industry. Every company needs organized people to handle their money, their staff, and their projects. You will learn the inner workings of a professional office, from managing budgets and insurance to coordinating teams and marketing products.

It is okay if you do not have a specific trade in mind yet. We will help you look at your natural strengths (whether you are a problem solver, a builder, or an organizer) and match them to a career that fits. You bring the work ethic and we will work with you one-on-one to find the apprenticeship path that makes sense for your future.
